How to make your blog Fluid

In today's world people have access to monitors in a number of shapes and sizes, with everything from small Tablets to large Wide Screen HD monitors. So how do you make sure that your blog looks good everywhere? You have to make it Fluid.

Being fluid means that your site will automatically "RESIZE" itself to properly fit the size of a screen. This is done by using percentages to define measurements on the page. This is not the same as being "Responsive", like when your site switches to a mobile version of itself. But it is a great way to make sure that your site will look the way you wanted it to on several different displays.

So let's get started.

First off we're going to need to get into Blogger's HTML Editor.
You're going to want to find the following code. You can search for it, or you can expand the template-skin section and it will be right near the top.

        body {

        min-width: $(content.width);

      }

      .content-outer, .content-fauxcolumn-outer, .region-inner {

        min-width: $(content.width);

        max-width: $(content.width);

        _width: $(content.width);

      }

The highlighted portion is what you're going to want to change.

        body {

        min-width: $(content.width);

      }

      .content-outer, .content-fauxcolumn-outer, .region-inner {

        min-width: 500px;

        max-width: 2000px;

        _width: 100%;

      }
